This photo was not taken in winter, rather November 2008 which is summer in New Zealand!
This image looks over Deep Cove, the entrance to Doubtful Sound which is New Zealand's second most famous fjord (after Milford Sound). Snow had fallen the previous night, creating a spectacular wintry paradise.
