The first few days after flying to a high altitude are tough, as your exercise tolerance decreases significantly. We had been struggling and gasping for oxygen just to reach a ruined outpost at the top of a small hill when a couple of local kids came bounding by effortlessly. They seemed to be carefree, and simply enjoyed running and exploring. I made this photo when they popped out onto a neighboring outcrop.
